Dr. Rajagopal is the Professor of Pain and Palliative Medicine at SUT Academy of Medical Sciences, Trivandrum, Kerala and the Chairman of Pallium India Trust, a charitable organization which works for the promotion of palliative care facilities in India. He is one of the founders of Pain and Palliative Care Society in Calicut, which later became a WHO demonstration project. In the past Dr. Rajagopal has served as the Head of Palliative Medicine at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, Kerala and started educational programs in Kochi including the first university-approved postgraduate diploma program in the country in Pain and Palliative Medicine. Additionally, he has authored several scientific publications including a textbook and is a member of the board of directors of International Association of Hospice and Palliative Care and Asia Pacific Hospice.

Prof. Joselyn Lobo is currently on the faculty at the School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore. He is a teacher-trainer with two decades of training experience all over South India. He is the Secretary and Consultant of GRID (Group of Institution Development), a training agency of high profile consultants. Mr. Lobo is actively involved in the Teachers’ Movement in Karnataka and at present he is the President of AMUCT (Association of Mangalore University College Teachers).

Mrs. Ophelia Fernandes is currently engaged in Employee Assistance Counseling at M/S Infosys Technologies Ltd., Mangalore and individual counseling at Child Line and Help Line at YMCA, Mangalore. She received her M.Phil. in Psychiatric Social Work from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore. Mrs. Fernandes has several years of teaching and training experience in a wide array of subjects.

Mrs. Obeida Showkat currently serves as a Student Welfare Facilitator at Yenepoya Medical and Dental College, Deralakatte, Mangalore. She received her BA from St. Agnes College and MSW from Roshni Nilaya, School of Social Work in Mangalore. She is a motivational and behavioral trainer and, an NLP Facilitator. She is actively engaged in conducting training programmes and workshops in schools, colleges and organizations. She is very passionate about reaching out to people and likes to work with children.
